If you are interested in a niche market this could be offering day care for children in your street, at your church or at a place of work. This will help you to learn about the people you will be serving and give you foresight so that when you open your business you know that you will have customers there.

Discipline is the next thing you will have to think about and work out. You will have to cover this from the children's side, the parents and the day care workers you employ. You will have to draw up a policy and contracts for the parents who are employing you and your employees in turn. The next step is to consider emergency procedures and preparations. This is a priority and legality in any day care business.
